Some of my life's experiences expressed through photography.

Hi, my name is Scot Klein, welcome to my blog. This blog exposes certain activities in my life which I decide to photograph. I enjoy photography more than writing, so my descriptions might be vague and possibly pointless. I like the photography to speak for itself. Please comment, I like to hear your opinions. Also, if you happen to be around when I'm taking pictures and I don't include any pictures of you, please let me know and I'll try and get one up there.
For those interested, most of the time I am shooting on my Canon 30D (pre March 2007 Canon Digital Rebel XT) with either my 50mm f/1.4 or 15mm f/2.8 fisheye. I also have a 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 and a 70-300mm f/4-5.6. Sometimes I just carry around my Canon SD200 point-and-shoot. Let me know if you are interested in any of this and I'd love to share what I know.

P.S. If anyone wants the full resolution images for any purpose, just let me know.

Nor Cal

So Nolan convinced me to go up North with him to help film a wedding. Basically I had nothing going on this weekend and it was an all expenses paid trip, so I said yes. So we left friday evening during traffic hour, but we took his old corolla so we would get better gas milage and so we could smoke cigars in it. Sure enough, once we hit that L.A. traffic, out came the cigars. We stopped at a cool "Vista Point" off the 5 around Crows Landing and took some cool pictures of cars driving by with long exposures. I think Nolan got better pics than mine because he had a tripod and all i was using to keep my camera steady was his car, oh well. When I get some of his pictures I'll post them on here also.

We arrived in San Ramon around 1. We wanted food, a bar, something to do, but everything was closed (except the McDonald's drive thru) and very quiet. So on our drive up, I realized that I forgot my dress clothes, which I put on hangers and left in my closet, so the next morning we had to go shopping to get me looking descent for this wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and we had a great time partying with a bunch of Nolan's friends. The next day, we hung out with the bride's family, went up to Diablo mountain, and went to Pyramid brewery. Here are some of my pictures, I hope you enjoy.
